This Penny Mac Hydrangea 1 gallon is approx. 9-12 in tall above ground. It is a deciduous shrub that has big green leaves and large clumps of flowers. It has a long season of bloom in summer and bud form continuously all season. Blooms will form on both old wood and new wood. It grows best in partial shade. During really hot days you should water morning and night. The bloom may be pink, purple or blue depending on the lime in your soil. It gets to 4-6 ft high and 3-4 ft wide full grown. It will come in a black 1 gallon pot. For best results use a slow release fertilizer each spring using the amount indicated on the fertilize package. If leaves start turning yellow that is a sign that it needs fertilizer.
