This Frostproop Gardenia 1 gallon is approx. 11 in tall above ground. It is an evergreen shrub with a fragrant, large, creamy-white, double flower and tolerants some frost. It has glossy, dark green leaves. It has a highly fragrant smell. Great for borders, landscape, woodland gardens and containers due to its rounded, compact size. It is relatively low maintenance, requiring occasional pruning. It grows best in full sun to partial shade. It can grow to 3-5 ft high and 3-4 ft wide full grown. It will come in a black 1 gallon pot. For best results use a slow release fertilizer each spring after it blooms, not fall, using the amount indicated on the fertilize package. If leaves start turning yellow that is a sign that it needs fertilizer.
