This Climax Blueberry 1 gallon is an early season Rabbiteye variety. It is known for it high yield of large, dark blueberries. It grows best in full sun with at least 6 hrs of sun a day and needs a proper fertilization. It is not self pollinating, it requires another Rabbiteye variety for best fruit. Make sure it has constant moisture especially during fruiting. Mulch around the bottom of the bush helps keep moisture. It blooms in late Feb. to early March. These are large with a sweet flavor. It can grow to 6-15 ft high and 3-10 ft wide full grown. It will come in a black 1 gallon pot. For best results use a slow release fertilizer each spring using the amount indicated on the fertilize package.
