This Brightwell Blueberry 1 gallon is a highly productive, vigorous Rabbiteye variety and is a great low-maintenance choice for your home orchards, container gardening and landscaping. It is known for it’s heavy yields of large, sweet blueberries. It can produce up to 15 lbs of firm, flavorful berries per year. It grows best in full sun with at least 6 hrs of sun a day and needs a proper fertilization. It is not self pollinating, it requires another Rabbiteye variety for best fruit. Make sure it has constant moisture especially during fruiting. Mulch around the bottom of the bush helps keep moisture. It typically ripens early to late May through July depending on your climate. It can grow to 6-10 ft high and 6-8 ft wide full grown. It will come in a black 1 gallon pot. For best results use a slow release fertilizer each spring using the amount indicated on the fertilize package.
